Tuesday: Jenn Childress, Joy Moody, Geoff Horowitz, aka Leapfrog Photography, Pete Malone aka First Floor Films, Ryan Estes and I, (Sofia Negron), drove up to Long Island to take a tour of our album company, Leather Craftsman. Leather Craftsman is an amazing album company; producing some of the top wedding and portrait albums in the country world. They are truly handcrafted works of art. It was so cool to see all the different workstations, machines, presses, materials and artisans creating these books. Each book is probably created by 15 different people. I was just amazed at the quality and workmanship of these albums.
A huge thank you goes to Greg DeTullio, our representative, who took us on this tour. Him and his family are multi-generational bookbinders.

After our little trek, we piled into Jenn’s SUV and celebrated St. Paddy’s Day with green beer and Guiness. Nothing like getting 6 friends, who just happen to be awesome photographers, in one place together for good times and lots of laughs.
