About a month ago, I was interviewed for for an article about the importance of engagement sessions, AKA Get to Know You sessions. As my clients know, engagement sessions are an integral part of who I am, who Sofia Negron Photography is and something I insist on doing. I equate not doing an engagement session to meeting someone and moving in with them after the first date. To really understand and build a relationship with my clients, to “get” them and be able to provide images that will reflect who they are and their story: we have to date. The engagement session and all the different elements involved such as the Get to Know You sheet, the phone calls, the emails, the shoot, the drinks after; are all part of the dating process.
So, enjoy the article and remember: we have to date before the wedding. 😉
