Alex and Liz’s wedding day fell during the first heatwave of June, making the celebration a sweltering one. This serves as a testament to my previous advice on the importance of enlisting professional make-up artists. These are the folks who will not only know how best to set your make-up to withstand heat and perspiration–a necessity during warm weather–, but also how to accentuate your best features and render you photo-ready. Relying on a make-up artist will lend you confidence and reassurance, allowing you to fixate less on whether your make-up is intact, and focus more on enjoying the day’s celebrations. Cool as a cucumber. Trust me, nothing makes for a more beautiful bride like Liz, than poised confidence. She had that in spades!
