Last post, I talked a little about Tan Dun and showed images from the luncheon with Tan Dun and the Opera Company of Philadelphia. Later in the week, the opera held their Tiger Gala which launched the East Coast premiere of Tea: A Mirror of Soul. Here is a little clip from the Opera Company of Philadelphia performance.
The gala looked gorgeous with event design by Evantine. There was also Taiko drumming and a traditional lion dance.
