Rioult Youth Summer Intensive

Every summer, Rioult has a week-long summer intensive for kids 10-15. I have watched these kids grow up and blossom into beautiful dancers. What I love about the program is that they not only learn technique but they also choreograph and learn a piece of the Rioult repertoire. No other dance program (that I know of) in NYC includes this creative element. Learning different ways of making dances is so beneficial. It allows for a creativity not often taught in dance unless you go to college. I am always impressed by the dances they create.
