Here is a view of “The Story of Us”. Katie did this one for her own wedding and guests loved reading about all of their adventures. It’s like a mini movie on paper.

A unique and personal way to do a seating chart. This takes a lot of thought and preparation and makes guests feel included in your day.

All of these drawing s are so cute, unique and above all personal. For me, it is all about the connections and personal relationships. Looks like Katie feels the same way.

Lindsay Landman Events designed Newlywish’s tablescape and display cabinet. It was really beautiful and made every bride stop and stare. More than a few times did I hear brides chatting, turn around, gasp and whip out their cameras to grab a photo. Lindsay truly has a gift. Gelato and Mini Cakes- yum! I had some of the hazelnut and chocolate gelato in a sugar cone and I thought I died and went to heaven. The mini-cakes are by Francina Sweets.

Atelier Isabey – I just met them for the first time at the show and they make gorgeous luxury invitations and fine stationery. The detailing and quality is magnificent.

Emily Weaver Pinon from Chestnuts in the Tuilleries is super sweet and super friendly. Brides were loving her infectious smile and her feminine and elegant flowers.

I am so excited to announce that the Philadelphia Wedding Project has chosen a winner! Congratulations to Caitlin and Rodney! They have an extraordinary story to tell. Both in the Army, they first met in March 2006, having both recently arrived at their unit, the 9th Engineer Battalion.

I am excited to stretch my photo storytelling skills to really dig into the core of their story and tell it from many perspectives. It will be really interesting to have 5 other fabulous photographers and some of my dearest friends all working together. With so many photographers, we can each take a different aspect of the day, follow other important people in this story to give it a completeness that we have never done before at a wedding.

Keep an eye on the PWP because the story has just begun….

For this event, Offshoots did the most amazing flowers integrated with wires, planes and lighting. AND of course Feastivities made super yummy food and presented it in such a cool way. Lighted bars, hanging tables and two stewardesses to help you with all your needs.

After our little trek, we piled into Jenn’s SUV and celebrated St. Paddy’s Day with green beer and Guiness. Nothing like getting 6 friends, who just happen to be awesome photographers, in one place together for good times and lots of laughs.
