Mike had just went on a terrible date and asked his friend, “Do you know any normal girls?”. The friend immediately thought of Lindsay and they met for drinks. 5 hours later they were still chatting over wine at Spamp’s, a bar in Conshohocken. Mike and Lindsay love wine. They actually keep a list of every bottle they have tried and their characteristics. Their favorite thing to do is grill out back with a nice red wine and watch crime dramas. I love me some crime dramas myself. I tried to get them to grill out for our session but dad had already stored the grill for the season so we settled for some nice homemade wine on the porch.

There was a row boat on the lake and I envisioned a nice little boat ride a la little mermaid, but we couldn’t figure out how to get the boat from the middle of the lake. Friends left it with no motor just floating in the middle. I hope someone doesn’t have to swim out there and get it, glad it won’t be me. =) Nixing the lake, Mike jumped in the driver seat of the bobcat and drove us to the cornfields. What a beautiful view!

Lindsay is so beautiful and bubbly. She is so easy to photograph. I love when my clients make my job super easy. If you look closely, Lindsay has a pair of designer jeans on. She claims this is her guilty pleasure because a great fitting pair of jeans is worth every penny. I couldn’t agree more! I am just glad my fave jeans are from H&M which only cost me $30 bucks!

Well, “cutie” also wore his designer jeans and posed for a few photos by the barn.

I was able to coax Lindsay out of her comfie jeans and into one of the cutest dresses I have ever seen. Totally fits her personality and when she is not looking, I am going to steal it.

Enough about Grounds for Sculpture and onto the couple, Anne and Jeremy. Jeremy was Anne’s shift supervisor when she worked campus security while in college. Since I hadn’t met Anne and Jeremy before their GTKY session (yes they booked me just from phone calls and website), I was a little nervous she might be rough around the edges. I mean if you were my security guard, I’d want you to be able to kick some butt. However, Anne is as feminine and gentle as a kitty cat. When questioned about being a security guard she said, “It was the highest paying job on campus and I like a little adventure. We were usually always in teams and never had anything bad happen to us” Although she did tell me about the ghost house on campus, but that is for another story. Now, thankfully, the college hires professional security guards not students.

I asked Anne and Jeremy what is special about them and their relationship. “We balance each other out. I love Disney he loves Star Trek, I am loud and flail my arms a lot and he is quiet and likes to fix things. It may not be that unique but that is what we love most about our relationship, the balance”

I could definitely see the balance and they both have a great sense of humor. So, without further ado, Anne and Jeremy.

It’s like Where’s Waldo! Can you find Anne and Jeremy?

This is one of my favorite sculptures and theirs. Look closely at the image, do you see what Jeremy stumbled upon. It’s pretty cool. There’s even sound effects that make it feel real.

There were at least 4 sets of tourists that thought they were statues when I was doing this shot on the bench.

When I met Meera and Tejjy for our GTKY session, we were just supposed to meet, go over the shoot and start. 2.5 hours later, we were still sitting in the coffee shop talking and laughing. oops! So we ran outside as the sun was setting and did a few quick photos at one of their fave spots . Thenwe went over to the G Lounge; a place they go to all the time. I know the owners, but when Tejy got there he was treated like royalty. It was fun to see him come out of his shell and schmooze. Meera is a little more quiet and reserved but I think we’ll still make stunning photos. She’s gorgeous.

Enough talking, here are the goods.

However, I didn’t get to meet Todd until the day we did their GTKY session. Todd was ready to go, anxious to get things started. Actually, I think it was get things over with. We basically chatted about the wedding and some ideas they had as we drove over to the beach. Armed with lots of questions, Todd grilled asked me what we would be doing.   I told Todd, “Don’t worry just have fun with Kristina, make out, cuddle, laugh and forget I am here” He said, “Oh yeah, I do that all the time.” LOL! I assured him everyone was nervous and I think by the second time we changed clothes, he had relaxed. They were troopers because the beach was really windy and Kristina’s hair kept blowing all over Todd’s face. We were also racing against the rain. Luckily it didn’t show up until after we had dinner.
